LONGEVITY MEDICINE - ONCOLOGY - CARDIOMETABOLIC DISEASE - NEUROLOGY/CNS - IMMUNOLOGY - RARE DISEASE - PRECISION MEDICINE - CELL AND GENE THERAPY - GASTROENTEROLOGY - WOMEN'S HEALTH - MARKET ACCESS/SALES - MEDICAL AFFAIRS - MARKETING
All entries will be reviewed by Industry Expert Judges.
All Competitors who participate in the Olympic Trials will be seeded in order of their performance and will have a choice based on their ranking in selecting the dates/times they prefer to deliver their 10-minute presentations in Week 1 of competition during the main event, Olympics (October 1 - 7).
Competitors who register after Olympic Trials Session 2 will miss the opportunity of receiving early feedback, and networking from Investors and Industry Expert Judges, and will select their date/time slots for their Week 1 presentations after all the Olympic Trials competitors who qualified have added their respective presentations to the #MIO2026 agenda.
Expert Judges will vote on October 7 after Round 1 and on October 14 after Round 2.
Top 4 Competitors will advance to LIVESTREAM Semifinals in the CONCEPT and PRODUCT Categories on October 15 with Live Voting to display progress after 10-minute Presentations, followed by 2-minute final statements from every competitor, and Final Live Voting which is the only one that will count.
Top 2 FINALISTS in each category will advance to the exciting LIVE FINALS at the ROCKEFELLER CENTER in New York City which will be streamed online LIVE GLOBALLY on October 16 that will follow the same format as the Semifinals.
Consent to All Competitors: You will maintain all (100%) right, title, and interest in and to any intellectual property you submit and develop during the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You acknowledge that others attending the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics, including Amedea Pharma, Inc., the host, sponsor, and organizer of the event, and New York Bio, media partner, premier healthcare innovation non-profit organization and ecosystem, may develop similar methodologies, tools, models, software, documentation, know-how, trade secrets, inventions, or works of authorship, or any other form of intellectual property during or after the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics, including works inspired by 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics projects in the future. However, all draft, current or completed ideas, products, and solutions submitted, presented, or modified throughout the course of the event by competitors in any of the event categories at the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics event that will be determined to be fundamentally similar to any others by the Expert Judges, Board and Steering Committee will be disqualified from this year’s competition and not eligible for any prizes.
Amedea Pharma, Inc. maintains all right, title, and interest in and to its Background Intellectual Property. “Background Intellectual Property” means registered and unregistered proprietary methodologies, tools, models, software, documentation, know-how, trade secrets, inventions, or works of authorship, or any other form of intellectual property conceived or developed by Amedea Pharma, Inc. or its licensors (a) prior to the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics, and (b) independent of the 2026 Medical Innovation Olympics.
Sportsmanship Conduct: All competitors, attendees, sponsors who participate in the event in person and virtually are encouraged to debate, discuss, and collaborate on topics and presentations throughout the competition, however they are required to maintain full professionalism, respect, ethical responsibility and sportsmanship during the course of the entire event which includes the competition component as well as the networking and educational components via private and public communication, community discussions, social media, and others. Any complaints thereof will be reviewed seriously by the Board and will be subject to disqualifications and appropriate refunds of any fees received from registrations or sponsorships.
